On June 2, 2011 …… myself and Tom (Fitter) drove down to meet up with some fellow HONDA CB-F enthusiasts for the www.cb1100f.net 2011 North East Spring Ride, through the Catskills of NY State. In total we had about 25 bikes, and rode approximately 350 miles between two glorious days. These are some of the images taken from the time we arrived until the day we left. Seen many old faces, met a few new ones, experienced many great roads and scenery. If only my eye could capture every moment and share that experience with you! ‘Til we meet again in the Fall fellow F’ers!

Great shots Darren! Wonderful group shots! Are some of the portraits the work of your 70-200 2.8 II?
Hey Nica! Thanks so much …. yes many of the portrait “daylight” shots were with my 7D and 70-200mm IS II. The “collage” of portraits near the beginning were taken at 4000 ISO ….. a little noisy but I didn’t bring my flash. I also had my 24-70mm f/2.8 with me on my 5D II, used it mostly for the panorama and group shots, as well as the girl sitting on the bike. Backpack was a bit heavy with the two cameras and lenses but helped balance me out on the bike! lol
